ADULTS & KIDS: THE IMPORTANCE OF INTERGENERATIONAL PRAYER
August 4th, 2006One of my favorite passages in Scripture is the account in Acts 12 of Peter’s miraculous release from prison during the days of Herod’s persecution of the early church. You’ll remember how that narrative describes his journey in the middle of the night from the heavily guarded cellblock to the “house of Mary the mother of John . . . where many were gathered together praying.” (v. 12.) Every time I recall that particular account, I gain a renewed motivation about the importance of intergenerational prayer.
